This is my windmill blade I am experimenting with. It’s made from spruce and with knots in it so it’s just a prototype. I’m going to use some sort of hardwood without knots because knots weaken it and will possibly break. Shaping was sort-of hard because I started with a 2 by 10 And did all of the shaping with a electric hand planer.
Thanks for reading

Is looking good – I am interested in seeing more.. Will you be using a car alternator to create the current? Or have another idea?
Thanks for sharing

Be sure that all the blades are as identical as possible (weight, weight distribution, aerodynamic shape, etc.) to avoid excessive vibrations.

Why not just get a prop from a propeller shop? That balancing is going to be critical. Any shimmy will probably destroy any setup you got.

Good job. I’ve tried blade shaping with little to no luck. On some sites I have seen them make the blades from a section of PVC pipe cut out long ways. It may be an easier alliterative.
