This is a little lathe project, and ultimately will be a gift for the misses. It is a bud vase that I turned from a banksia pod.

those pods are fun to turn, but kind of messy…... looks great.

looks great, I have never turned any of the banksia pods but might have to after seeing this.

That’s a beautiful vase, very interesting looking wood, not sure what a pod is, but it sure looks good, thanks for sharing

That looks very interesting. Not something to market to anyone with Trypophobia though, which is a fear of circles, holes, what-have-you.
