This is a pen design I was playing with. Its quite simple, It’s just four pieces of contrasting wood with 45 deg angle cut on all of them. The wood that I used is Osage Orange and black walnut. And all the wood was found in the fire wood pile. I encourage you to try it out!

Nice looking pen. Your walnut and osage in the wood pile?? Here in California little pieces of scrap of both woods are equal to their wieght in gold!
