This an American Elm bowl with an Walnut foot, I decided to put a textured stripe on this bowl with my new texture tool. Was a little afraid to use the tool since I never even played around with it before this attempt, but all went pretty well and really love this tool now, something new in my arsenal of turning. Anyway I really love this bowl and am ready for the next project.

GREAT looking bowl Ron. I really like the texturing that you did on this one. It makes a nice accent to the bowl and makes it stand out.

Bit more info “Pool man”
Is that border stripe a wire burn, or, a marker pen?
Did you colour the textured area, or, did it just come up that way due to the “interference” with that texture tool (dont you love them texture tools)
Buy the way , very nice bowl :)

Its a wire burn Peteg and the only stain I used was over the textured area, then I applied the 8 coats of WOP.
