Hi Ratchet, The bottom is attached by screws and plugged from the bottom. Since this box is carrying some heavy plumbing tools I didnt want to rely on just the thin box joint. I am just figuring out this Incra jig. If I had it to do over again I would have made the box joint fingers closer together. Oh well, live and learn…
