One of the first bowls I ever cut. It is smaller than it appears, one day I will have a lathe with enuff torque to cut a bowl to eat out of !

A nice choice of wood burl with an interesting interior shape. You can turn larger bowls with whatever horsepower lathe you have. With less power then its lighter cuts, more time and patience. If you can slow down and just enjoy the turning you will be able to enjoy the finished piece so much more. PS I want a bigger lathe too!
