My parents told me that I had to move out of my house right after I graduate so I decided to build my own furniture so it would be cheaper on me. I figured that a dinner table would be a good place to start. I used walnut for the boader and cherry for the inserts and the trim. I plan on putting tile in the triangle spaces and covering the whole top of the table with a bar top finish.

That is an impressive piece of furniture. Keep moving forward and don’t look back. You have the apparent talent to make it on your own if you have to.
