The frame is made of anigre veneer glued to 1/2” MDF and trimmed with red oak. I used a miter sled on the table saw (that I just made) to cut the miters. I should have made a miter sled a long time ago; it’s basically idiot proof. Its finished with amber shellac. I made this frame for my dad who collects lighthouse paraphernalia.
