This project was built as a test piece to see if they could be marketable. One of my brothers co-workers does metal detecting for cival wars era relics and while I was at his house getting dimensions for a display cabinet he wants commissioned, he suggested I build a box similar to what he keeps some of his relics in. Built it from some scrap white oak I had. It is 16” by 16” by 2” deep and lined with a couple layers of felt and has 1/8” plexiglass in the lid. Very quick and easy build and if they are a good item to sell, they aren’t tough to batch out.

These types of boxes are very handy to have for selling small items. You should have good luck with them.
