My sister-in-law needed a new mail box post. You know like the ones you can purchase at the hardware store. Well the project fell to me and I made this one. The post are recycled from the local Habit for Humanities store. The fretwork brackets are left over pieces from my shop. The patterns came from one of Patrick Speilman’s pattern books. I had been wanting to make something from the book ever since I go it and this project fell into my lap

This is really beautiful! You really made it look classy with the additional fretwork. Great work!
