2010—I extended the table on the table saw and mounted a router underneath. The space in the garage shop is limited, so this is a nice way to share table space with two tools. The second photo shows the table saw and the router. (The table saw fence is shown on the LEFT side of the blade in the photos.)
I built the red router fence out of a piece of MDF and assorted scraps. In the third photo you can see how the router fence attaches to the table saw fence—using the slot on the top of the table saw fence. The hole in the side of the router fence is sized to fit my vacuum hose, for dust collection. Sometimes I use the router fence only for dust collection when using the router when I don’t need the fence.

Nice fence and a great way make use of limited space. I know first hand, if i’m not bumping into anything in my shop I am standing still.

Sweet shop addition. That looks to be a sturdy and usefull fence.
