I can’t believe it’s been almost 600 days since I posted a project so I thought I’d toss this one out there. This is my version of Tommy Mac’s wall cabinet. I used cherry wood and through dovetails instead of the half- blind Tommy uses. This was fun to build and learned a few things. Next time I use dentil molding I’ll calculate the length and divide by evenly spaced “toofeses.” Also, the french cleat would have held it out from the wall so I used a key-hole bit in my router table and cut holes that would hang it off of two screws. Finished with one soaking coat of boiled linseed oil and three coats of poly, sanded w/320 grit between coats 2 & 3. Sorry the pics aren’t better but the two sheles have some really nice figure in the grain.
