Good morning from Portland. Well here it is my typically industrial looking shoe rack. I have no where to grow outwardly so like New York City and many others, I grow up! ; -)

I’m going to do so. I have to get my friend to take me to the Re-Building Center tomorrow so I can pick-up a sheet of something and I’m going to build I-Beams to run from the book shelf on the headboard to the footboard and then some smaller ones across those on the inside of the web to secure the spacing and saw out/drill some large holes along the web to make it really look industrial. I’m even going to make articulated/pinned pads on the ends of all of the beams where they connect together.
If I were still young enough to get a good looking dame I’d mirror it. :-)
What do you think? I’ll need to find some use for it.

Now that,my friends, is a true wood worker. All work boots and a pair of flip-flops for the slow days.
Looks great!
