Bren -
You got my interest . . . but now you have to share some details.
What is the cabinet made of?
What type of finish did you use?
Any special considerations when building a speaker housing?
And of course, do you play the guitar?!

It is made out of 3/4” mdf. We wanted something that would not resonate at all. I think this is overkill as it makes for a very heavy cabinet. We wanted to try to get away from the tolex typically used on amps to avoid the tearing problem. We experimented with truck bed liner on this one. Turned out pretty good. I don’t play but my son does. I met Terry (amp builder) through my son. Not sure what the speaker wattage is. It was out of a hammond organ is all I know. Typically the amps Terry builds are in the 3-5 watt range.
