I think you should change the comment from ‘attempts’ to ‘successes’ !

Thank everyone for the comments.

The jewelry box is cherry front and sides a maple top with a cherry inlay. I finished it with a tung oil hoping the cherry will age nicely.. Currently the smaller boxes are unfinished.

Great looking box. How did you achieve the bevels on the lid?

Bevels on the lid are done on the table saw. Used a Jig there was plas for in one of the Shop Notes magazines, for cutting tenons.
