Was having some fun with a pen I made and decided to try something a little bit artsy. There is no special meaning there so don’t read too much into it. Just having some fun.

The pen is a Cambridge Hybrid with titanium gold and sterling sliver parts. The blank is a Banded Malachite truestone. Thanks for looking and any comments are always welcomed.

The main thing to keep in mind when turning this material is go slow when drill and keep a cool bit. When turning use sharp tools. I turned with my skew and had to sharpen twice. This material is not as bad as some other truestone because it does have alot of acrylic mixed in. But polishes to a real nice shine and is one of my favorite blanks.
