I was bored last weekend, and had some mahogany laying around. So I made a box to hold my ping pong paddle.
Completely unnecessary? yep.

Where is your custom paddle? Nice job on the box.

I don’t think some of the guys at my shop would agree on the unnecessary part. There are some serious players at my work. Good job.

I love it. We have a Ping Pong table at work and the games are intense! We have some real good players here. I might have to make one just to mess with the boys for the new paddle I just bought! Well done.

I love it. Never mess with anyone who carries a ping pong paddle in a custom made mahogany box!

Thanks for the compliments. The guys at work got a laugh from it. I think they respect my game a little more now.
I want to build an actual custom paddle too, but I can find any paddle rubber for a decent price.

I think the intimidation factor when people see you bring out this cool box just to hold your paddle…nobody would want to play you LOL!
