This is my daughter’s cubby that I made to put in her other closet. I just used dadoes and rabbits for the joinery. I glued and reinforced with 1” brads. Since I knew I was painting it white to match her other furniture, I just used popular. I wanted to get a bit more fancy with the paint by adding some pink, my wife just wanted it all white….my wife won. I finished it off with 4 or 5 coats of gloss polycrylic from Minwax. The inserts are purchased.

This is a great idea, nice work and I like the color scheme ;-)! I think I will make one of these for our grandchildren play room at grandma and grandpa’s house.

I like “woodworker under construction”. Sounds about like me as well.
