This segmented bowl was made with oak, black cedar and white and black veneer for the handle; is 8” tall and 8” diameter, the finish was made with sand sealed and spray lacker. It has more o less 295 pieces. Thanks for watching and/or your comments.

What a fantastic bowl/basket. I love the detail… very tedious I’m sure. I also like the way the different woods compliment each other in a great color tone that really works together. I would love to be able to make one!

Very Nice!

Did you glue up the rings piecemeal or did you do the whole ring and use a ring clamp? If you did it piecemeal, how did you prevent the ‘mortar’ pieces from warping when applying glue?

Very nice, cool brick effect. One made from bloodwood and holly would look heavy.
