Nothing to special. I built this about 10 years ago. The cabinets are store bought, I did everything else including tops.

Wicked nice.

By the way, your definition of ‘simple’ and my definition of ‘simple’ do not agree…

Cherry? Very nice design elements and combination of them all- mirrored backs of the cabinets, hanging lights, ceiling cove, paint color.. very warm feeling.

Nice bar, you make simple look easy… but I know it’s not.

Very nice and I agree that your definition of simple is a little off. What kind of finish did you use? I am looking to match a fireplace mantle in same color/stain.

Thanks.

The wood is cherry, birch and poplar. Sanding sealer, and stain from the cabinet manufacturer.

This really is pretty simple woodworking. Fluted on a router table. Face frames are pocket screwed, valances are roughed out then run through the router w/ a template and template bit.
