Just completed our new tv stand, our big old projection tv finally crapped out so we had to get a new, wife still accuses me of having something to do with that in order to get a new one :). I got alot of inspiration from a fellow jock miles125 and the stand he built. I loved the look of his and it was a perfect fit for the corner we have. I built it out of cherry, the piece was sealed with shellac first, then glazed with a concoction of a couple of gel stains followed by waterborne lacquer sprayed on. It still doesn’t have hardware but that is not unusual as my can’t make up her mind, but we are very happy with the way it turned out.

Very nice console. Gorgeous selection of wood. Sweet finish. I see you managed to keep some space for the side speakers, what about the front speaker? I had that problem when I designed mine Didn’t want to sacrifice the drawer space. Tks for sharing.

Nice stand. I was thinking about something like this but a little more open. I like the diamond shap top. Great job. More pics if possible please.
