When our new daughter was born, so I made this in about 1 hour. Bought the letters at a craft store, built the frame, used left over beadboard for the backing. Raised the letters off the back with little blocks. Sprayed the whole thing with the “little critter” sprayer. She loves it. It’s hung with a french cleat so you can put things on display in it if you want.

Sometimes the simplest and easiest projects will bring the most satisfaction (and score big points). Good work.

The backing and the paint color are a great touch… really gives it a “built-in” look. Super project!

Aside from being a really nice touch for the baby’s room, she should have no problem learning to spell her name when the time comes.

That’s a nice project. Making points with the better half is a nice bonus.
