I’m curious about the blade too, it doesn’t look to have a chipbreaker like the Hock blades?

It is a veritas 1 7/8” x 3/16” iron A2 for wooden planes part #05P62.05 in the Lee Valley catalog.
Because of the thickness of the iron you do not need a chipbreaker
