A plaque I did for a friend that was retiring. Tail paddle from a helicopter, mounted on Oak backboard. Trimmed with white painted rope and black lined to show his love of the Yankees. The support blocks are Hard Maple, that were setup to allow for easy removal. The end slides in, as it sits on the triangle. The bolt at the top goes through a turned piece of maple, that can be removed to slide the paddle out.
I didn’t do the appliqué work, just the wood.
