Yikes! After looking at the beautiful stallion and then opening this to get greeted by a fierce bear attack—I’m scared! :)
I can almost feel his breath on my face.
Very impressive.

I saw this pattern in some wood carving magazine, man did you do it justice. Very good likeness and just a good job. In fact all your intarsia’s are beautiful, you are very adept at what you do. mike

Nice! I like it! Very good use of the woodgrain to accentuate the piece.

How ironic I just posted the same thing although I only did the bear. You sure did an absolutely incredible job and definitely did this pattern justice. Did you get it from creative woodworks and crafts? The designer had a pattern that if I recall right was actually a 4 by 4 but you had to send in for it possibly purchase it. I can’t tell from your picture but it looks like the big one. Again awesome job. I sure hope I live long enough to be able to do work as good as this! Thanks for sharing . Allison I just went and looked at all your work and it is all soo cool. I am in the middle of the rocky mountain purebred myself . It is to be a gift for my soon to be daughter-in-law. You have given me the inspiration to try even harder. Thanks! PEACE!!! Allison
