Hello all,

During my break from serious woodworking, I reorganized the shop (a couple of times). The last time I decided I needed a workbench for doing things other than woodworking (and woodworking if needed). So, I sat down and built this workbench.

The bench is 6 feet long and 30” deep. The frame is made out of 2×4s and the top is a double thickness of pine plywood. No finish on any of it.

It’s main intent is for small non-woodworking projects. So far, the only thing I have done with it is junked it up and built a pinewood derby car on it. I am hoping to get it cleaned off this weekend and ready for work on the entertainment center and several other projects.

Thanks for looking!

I have something kind of similar to that Rob and I get a ton of use out of it.
Thanks for posting it.

Napman,

I did this back in October. I took a break from most woodworking, not all woodworking. I am hoping to get started tomorrow where I left off with my entertainment center project. I got the overall sketchup drawing done just a few minutes ago. I will be starting a blog in the next couple of days for the project.
