Burial Flag Case

I built this by request from a guy at work for his fathers burial flag. Walnut with maple splines, finished with BLO and paste wax. Pics are before the wax. Used blue felt for the backing. Originally started with mahogany but after a few issues, the pieces ended up as picture frames for the wife. Thx for looking

Is this the one from Rough Cut. Nice job, like the wood combination.

Almost a year ago, made to plunge to rid the house of cable, so no on the Rough Cut but I have been interested to see that show. Thanks for the comment

Thats very nice, I like the wood choice. I would be honored to have my dad’s flag there… or even my own. My son will need one someday. Inspirational! :) -Aaron (2 bn. 8th Marines, Camp Lejeune)
