This took about three months of weekend work. Built six display cases my wife will be using in her business. Fun project overall. The frames for the cases are poplar with red oak miter keys. I experimented with a dovetail key on the small case but the rest are just straight keys. The cases are lined with black velvet on the inside and black felt on the outside.
Brass hardware for the handles, hinges, and latches. The rest of the inside is a variety of knobs and other places to hang her necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
This was a modified design from another we had seen online. I think the wife’s pretty happy with these so far.
