This was my first cabinet project. I built it about 20 years ago. The carcus is knotty pine and the panels are hand punched tin. This is a great project for first time woodworkers. Very simple joinery and can be done with basic tools. Check out Charles Neil’s series on building his verson of a pie safe. Great videos! http://www.theamericanwoodworker.com/forum/topics/charles-neil-pie-safe-build

I just watched the Charel’s video a week or so ago, and also a norm

project on the new yankee workshop… The pie safe idea is really good

but I would like to do one one day with reclaimed old pine.
