This piece is a culmination of 15 months worth of work. I have had pieces I wanted to make, and there were no real standard methods to make them. I have had to devise ways to achieve my artistic goals. Many methods were drastic thinking changes. One is “organic segmentation”.(my name for my process) A totally new approach to segmentation. Not the standard triangular pieces stacked on top of one another & turned, but organic shapes stacked and turned.
This piece is named as it is, because a gentleman on another forum, gave me my artisan name: “circles within circles.” I made this piece to thank him for that lovely honor.
Hope broken circles intrigues, and that your eyes allow you to see that the circles are “broken” or offset at center, thus the name.(even in person, people don’t seem to see that)

I LOVE it! The complexity of the circles and alignment are intriguing. I could look at this for hours on end.
