Soilid Walnut from the hills of Tenn. This was a commissioned table by a local interior design firm here in Greenville, SC. The table will be taken to a facility in Athens Georgia, called the “Healing Lodge”. This facility is for the recovery of those who have battled cancer and survived.
The planks were 12/4 joined and surfaced by hand. I spent alot of time with my water stones with this one! The planks were joined with #20 biscuits.
The base was also hand made, but not me, Im no Black Smith! Although I’d like to learn. A local smith completed this part of the table.

Very nice. The heavy top works well with the iron.
