In order, the woods are Paduak, Brazilian Cherry, Red Oak, Pau Amarello (Yellowheart), Cherry and Walnut.

They are free-hand carved in a style I developed myself for strength and readability on a 1976 12” Sears bandsaw.

Hey Dustynewt – had some work friends over tonight, and they each made one of your “concepts” for their wifes/girlfriends. They were all blown away by the concept that they could if fact create something with their own hands and will probably talk about this for quite awhile.

OH WOW! Now thats the kinda stuff I like. Makes for great gifts for friends and looks like loads of fun to make! And they look GREAT!
