This simple wall clock is made from Buckeye Burl. The quartz mechanism is set in a mortise in the back. I chose not to clutter the face with numbers, so you only have the gist of what time it is when you look at it, which I think is just fine. It is frill-free and easy to enjoy the natural patterns in the grain.
Finished with oil and wax.
About 16” tall, 1ft wide, 1” thick.
