One of those fun projects that originates from figuring out what to do with your scraps of wood that aren’t long enough to make what you want. Woods are Red Oak, Maple and Purpleheart and the bottom joint is my first half lap. The top is held to the base with dowels. It now rests comfortably next to our toilet, it’s an honor bestowed upon so few projects.

Another cutting board with legs. I think we should be doing more ideas like this. Nice job.

Nice, small tables are always usable in any house.

What is the finish? Having placed your treasure in the bathroom did you finish it with something special?

Thanks for looking. Nothin special for the finish, just 5 coats of a brush on Minwax Laquer. It was a weekend project so I wanted quick drying.
