This is a project I made for my sisters mother inlaw. She had a console tv from sears for over 25 years that finnaly stopped working, there were no parts available so she needed a new tv, and wanted a console tv.
My brother inlaw came up with this idea. It is one of the first projects I built that I thought was worthy of taken some pictures of.
There was some wild grain in that oak plywood, do you see the owl?

Clever idea to keep mom happy. Looks good and nice that you even put a shelf in there for the other electronics. Be interesting to see one with built-in speakers (2.1?).

That was one of our concerns we had to find a tv with the speakers in the front
