This is a Queen head board that I just finished for my mother. It is made from pine. I made every thing except the scroll work (it was only 10 bucks). I made the cove moulding with a shaper blade on the table saw and the dental molding on the table saw with a 1/4” dado blade. This is my design that I came up with on AutoCAD. The whole thing came in for $45. I used General Finishes “Coffee” Gel stain and followed it up with 3 coats for satin finish poly. I could have made it better but it was freezing in the garage and I didn’t want to be out there for very long. Shows how much I love wood working when i’m out in the garage and it’s 30 degress in the garage and 15 degrees outside. This is my 2nd major project and my 5th overall. Hope you guys like it as much as my mother does. Thanks for looking.
