Pyrography done on Red Cedar 11” x 17”. The scenery is from our Washington State trip, the lighthouse is an added afterthought. Lighthouse burnings are moving right along, since I am recently unemployed :) I overburned a couple of rocks, I need to be careful of getting everything too dark.

Nice job Doris! If there are any imperfections in this picture, I certainly don’t see them. The money you make from these probably won’t compare to your previous wages, but I’m guessing that this is a lot more satisfying (at least that’s what I’m finding)
Good luck,

I’m afraid I’m not much of a salesman:) It is more of a hobby, with lots of pieces piling up. For every one I do, I think of 3 more I want to do.

Doris, You really need to take some of these to a consignment shop. Find a place that sells unique crafts or art. You truly have a gift to share, might as well make a few bucks while sharing them. The lady who sells my stuff here in tennessee would go crazy for things like this. Great job.

Wow, amazing detail. I have to ask – how long does a picture like that take?

Thanks for the nice comments. This one took almost 2 weeks.
I can rush one in a week if I need it in a hurry, but its more enjoyable to spend more time & not rush.
