I built this table from hardwood I salvaged from pallets. The top is oak which has been laminated, glued, and doweled. The legs are maple heartwood also taken off of pallets. I finished it with several coats of boiled linseed oil, wipe on poly, and carnuba wax. It’s approx Approx 3ft high by 3.5ft wide by 1ft deep, give or take.

That’s one of the best looking uses for pallet’s I’ve seen.

Great table and green to boot! Nice save.

Sorry I don’t have more detailed pics. It’s one of those pieces I gave to family before taking pics, so this is all I’ve got.

Nice score! I’m very surprised you were able to salvage those species! Finished product well worth the hunt and wait, if you are like me in your pallet scavaging.

I don’t have to search that hard, my job receives everything on hardwood pallets. Most are oak, but some are maple, and even fewer still are mahogany. When mills make pallets, they use wet lumber, so some of the maple is spalted. I’m saving a bunch of the spalted stuff for a special cabinet.
