Every-wine Needs a home

Just like woodworkers always need more tools, wine drinkers always need more wine, inherently creating a further need for storage. To fit in with a simple basement storage concept, I developed a combination unit consisting of individual bottle racks in the center and then eight side compartments with angle dividers. The whole unit holds well over 100 bottles with 24 individual spots in the middle and each of the eight side compartments hold 10 to 12 bottles depending on bottle size. The whole piece is made of pine for a soft and simple look.

Looks like you’re into the Aussie wines, but I think I also see some DOCG Italian neck tags there too?
And upon further inspection, French and argetine wines too, just from what I can make out.

Nice little rack. Looks like you already need to build more though! That’s the way it goes.

Nice, love wine. More storage is a good thing. I’m sure you will be building more of these.
Here is a project to make with all your wine corks you might want to consider.

Oh yea I like that rack.. Since I gave up on the hard stuff and beer years ago I do love the wine. I built a rack something like you have made, but mine was much smaller. To have that many bottles in the house at one time….I wouldn’t go out side very often. Thanks for sharing
