Made this one for my daughter. It was one of my first projects. I think the top is too thin.

I am sure your daughter likes it just the way it is, and the stuff goes in it, not on it right..?

Nice job, I think the top looks just right, matches well with the rest of the material used.

-- Measuring twice and cutting once only works if you read the tape correctly!
