This little lamp is about 12” tall. I had to figure out what to do with the large branch growing out of the side of it. I looked around and noticed that I just so happend to cut off the end of another limb to size it up the day before, and decided that the scrap piece would make a perfect shelf. I countersunk a screw under the branch and set it in Liquid Nail cauking. It was a much easier task to drill the hole for the cord through this one then all of the other projects!!! I tried a black stain on the base—-not my favorite and if I get to it someday I will sand most of it off and refinish it. But for now, my interest is in new projects.

Thank you. This was supposed to be just a practice piece, but once I started with it I had to finish it up.

Very nice. I haven’t tried anything along this line yet. Just curious—what tools do you use to clean and polish the limbs? If you wouldn’t mind sharing your technique give me a PM.
Thanks!
