This pencil box started as a piece of scrap wood that I practiced a wood burning of a Bass. I liked it so much though I decided it would become the lid to a box and since it was the length of a pencil well it became a pencil box. So I drew up some plans and lost them and this is what came from it all lol. The sides were riped out of a white pine 1×4 down to about 3/8”x2”x a bit longer than a pencil with mitered corners and the lid is a piece of yellow pine about 3/16” thick. To make this I needed a resaw fence for my bandsaw which had been on the to do list for a while now. It is finished with a few coats of clear poly. The sfs stands for Student Fisheries Society which I got the inspiration to do all of this b/c I was just recently elected Vice President of the group. (and also just because im a fish guy lol) Thank you for looken!
