More help from the boys. My 10 year old tackled this one. This one was a real challenge to run the lamp wire through but was a lot of fun. Lots of sanding, a few turquoise and copper inlays, and a really cool shelf that was all his idea. We finished this lamp with 4 coats of Tung oil.

I had to drill from the top and from the bottom and meet in the middle. Definately not the easiest task to “guess” where a 3/8” hole is going to be inside that limb. I missed my “guess” by about an 1/8” on this one and I had to drill a third hole to tie my two holes together. You can barely see it in the second picture in the crook of the limb just under the shelf. Nobody notices it untill I point it out, I’m the worst critic of my own work!!
