Found this poplar burl in a pile of trees my nephew had cut down and thrown in a pile at my brothers place. They did’nt know what it was until I cut it up and showed them. Looked good to me. Made this as a present thats helped do a lot of work for me around my house. Just a good kid. I say kid, but hes 30. Acts like a kid a lot I guess is why. Got a good heart. Is a plumber by trade but also has worked with his brothers who are licensed contractors, building houses. mike

That came out nice, Mike. I can’t tell time on one of dem der hand devices, but it still looks pretty cool to me.

Aw you kids, brought up with puters, never learned to tell time the old fashioned way like me, you ask someone the time. mike

Thats a very nice piece of burl you chose for the clock. Looks good.
And Tom, I’ve seen those before and they are pretty cool. I would make one but I don’t know how… I would buy one but they are pretty expensive!

Very nice. I need hands to know what time it is. Somehow the numbers of a digital clock or watch just don’t stick.

Great looking piece of burl Mike and clever use of it. The clock came out really nice, I bet the “kid” liked it. I think that 30 is a kid, heck I was 30 myself, 30 years ago.
