This simple project really took off made 11 total within 5 days my better half does the wood burning and has got so good at it I am jealous of her talent

I think that these look fine and with the wood burning to customize them you ought to do real well with them.

Very nice indeed, I have to learn the art of woodburning. Are those lids coopered? I try coopering the lids of my chests but they are always a tad off. Great job.

Well thank you everyone . Well Richard I built the box completely and hand planed each piece on the top to fit I wasn’t looking for perfection I wanted them a little rustic , then I cut the top section off and added the hinges I did run into alignment problems as well but I figured out to only use 1 screw in each part of a hinge ,then check it , clamp it and put the other screws in it !It seemed to work ok if anything was off I hand planed it in then re-sanded !
