This is a TV stand I made for my parents over Christmas. I saw a hall table somebody made at work that had a similar look so I decided to base my design on that. I used Birch plywood for the cabinets and doors and solid birch for the legs. I finished it with a dark walnut stain and three coats of lacquer.

Super looking center, Chris!

Lots of storage, too- that’s always a plus.

Chris, this is a nice looking entertainment center that you built. I am sure your parents are enjoying it and it not only showcases the television but also adds plenty of storage. I have one of these on my list and this one certainly gives me some ideas.

Nice entertainment unit. That should have put a smile on your parents face, espically at Christmas.
