I made ornaments as gifts for my family for Christmas this year. I gave one to my wife, mother, sister, and sister in law. This is the first year I’ve made gifts for my family and they were a hit!

The pattern came from a Kathy Wise intarsia book. They were a lot of fun to make, but it was a tedious process. I broke each ornament at least once during construction. The worst offender was my drill press drum sander. If I wasn’t careful, I’d loose grip and a piece would smash against the wall. Luckily, the repairs were fairly easy.

They are made of Cherry, Bloodwood, and Walnut. The finish is satin arm-r-seal. Thanks for looking!
