The christmas tree has 11 rings cut and glued together making it approximately 12” tall..having a stained glass star made for the top…not all our “stuff” has to be serious…this was just FUN…took a little geometry however…thanks for looking…comments always appreciated!

I would be interested in seeing how you made the rings. A blog of the process would be great.

Its your life, your time and you seem to have made some pretty good use of it. Not great on Christmas myself but this is a very pleasing sculpture in wood, Marshall

Very unique and beautiful. Hardly a waste of time in my eyes. Really well done Marshall. I would display that anytime of the year actually. Trees are always “in”... especially on LJ’s!

Neat idea and well done.
I’m guessing that you used a RingMaster. Am I right?

If you are working with wood and enjoying it there is never enough time on your hands, it just seems that
way to those who do not do much with their time. Beautiful tree, is the bottom ring on the tree solid, or
did you run a support rod from the base to the top of tree? What finish did you use? Thank you for
sharing and giving us something to move our imagination onto.
