She says: “we need a printer table that doesn’t rock back and forth when we print something”... So… I had some curly cherry left from flag boxes. Sort of “Shaker Style” with a movable center shelf, very curly sappy cherry for the drawer front and a dovetailed drawer box. Finish is Watco mahogony danish oil with a second coat of dark walnut danish oil to make it less pink then a few coats of wipe on poly.

That is really nice… I just happen to have some cherry in my garage—giving me a good idea here.

Beautiful job and expressive wood!

Inkjets shimmy and shake like my sister Kate…

Now you need a brand new color laser printer to sit on top of it…. ;-)

Love the curl! Thank you for the tip on covering the pink color with “walnut” danish oil. I was excited when I first saw mahogany danish oil about a year or so ago. Boy was I ticked when I tried it out. Flat out pink! One of the worst colors I’d ever seen (and I like danish oil). Its been sitting on the shelf since then right next to the “natural” and “walnut”. I’ll have to give the that idea a try.

Nice job and thanks for posting.

I’m not usually a huge fan of Cherry but wow! This is amazing! I think you played very well with the character of the wood.
