This is a cane I made for a friend of mine who gave it to his dad for Christmas. I was a little nervous… I wasn’t sure if he would like the style. But it turned out to be a hit. From the handle down: Mahodany, Oak, PurpleHeart, Oak, Walnut, Maple, Walnut, Oak, Mahodany, Oak, Walnut and Oak for the rest of the shaft.
Finished with Polyurathane clear gloss.
Thanks for looking.

Looks cool to me! Did you just glue the slices together or is there any type of rod through the center of that portion? I have been wanting to try something like this!

Looks really good. People love a custom cane. So fun seeing the many types. Your’s is great looking, a piece to show and talk over. Cool…......................
